What to Expect at a
Cox Fight Night
If you have never been to a live boxing event, here is what a night at the fights actually looks like in Parkersburg, West Virginia. Cox Fight Promotions builds every card to work as a complete night out — not just a series of bouts.
Doors Open Early
Doors typically open an hour before the first bell, so you have time to find your seat, grab food and drinks, and settle in. Undercard bouts start early and often produce the best action of the night — arriving on time means you will not miss them.
A Full Card, Not One Fight
Every Cox Fight Night card features multiple professional bouts. Championship title fights headline the night, with feature bouts and undercard matchups building toward the main event. Fight cards are subject to change — that is the nature of the sport — but the card you see announced is the card we intend to deliver.
Local Fighters, Local Crowd
Our roster is built around fighters from West Virginia, Ohio, and Kentucky. That means your neighbors in the ring, and a crowd that knows them. The atmosphere at a hometown fight night is something a televised card simply cannot replicate.
Professional Production
Ring lighting, entrance walkouts, ring announcer introductions, and live streaming are all part of the show. Fighters get the walkout they have earned, and fans get an event that feels like a major production rather than a gym exhibition.
Food, Drink, and Merch
Venues offer food and beverage service throughout the night. Official Cox Fight Promotions apparel is available online year-round, and event-specific merchandise is often available on site. Concessions and alcohol policies are set by the venue.
Safe, Family-Friendly Venue
Events take place at established venues with professional security and medical staff on site. Ringside physicians and emergency medical personnel are present at every card, as required for sanctioned professional boxing.
New to Boxing? Start Here.
You do not need to know the sport to enjoy a fight night. Each bout is announced with fighter records, weight classes, and what is on the line. Ten rounds of professional boxing, judged by three ringside officials, with a referee in the ring enforcing the rules. If a fight ends early, it is by knockout or stoppage — and the crowd will let you know.

Fight Night FAQ
Everything you need to know before you come to a Cox Fight Promotions event in Parkersburg, West Virginia.
How do I buy tickets?
Tickets are sold through our event registration partner, New Line Cagefighting. Use any Get Tickets button on this site to reach the official ticket page for the current card. We recommend buying in advance — ringside and premium seating sell out first, and pricing may increase at the door.
What time should I arrive?
Doors open approximately one hour before the first bout. Undercard fights begin at the listed start time and run through the evening, with the main event typically taking place last. Arriving at doors gives you time to park, find your seat, and catch every bout on the card.
Where are events held?
Cox Fight Promotions events are held at the Elite Sports Center, 2000 1st Ave, Parkersburg, WV 26101. The venue offers on-site parking and is accessible from throughout the Mid-Ohio Valley. Venue details, directions, and a map link appear on each event page.
Is there an age limit?
Age policies are set by the venue and by state athletic commission rules for sanctioned professional boxing. Many events are open to all ages with adult supervision. If you are planning to bring children, contact us before the event and we will confirm the specific policy for that card.
Can the fight card change?
Yes. Fight cards in professional boxing are subject to change due to injury, licensing, or commission decisions. We announce the card as it is set and update our events page as changes are confirmed. A card change does not affect your ticket — your seat remains valid for the event.
Is there food and drink at the venue?
Yes, the Elite Sports Center offers food and beverage concessions during events. Specific offerings and alcohol policies are determined by the venue. Outside food and drink policies are also set by the venue — check with us if you have a specific question.
Are the events streamed or recorded?
Yes. Cox Fight Promotions cards are filmed, with clips and full-fight replays posted to our YouTube channel and to the Media page on this site following each event. Livestream details, when available, are announced on our News page before fight night.
How can my business sponsor an event?
Sponsorship packages range from basic logo placement up to exclusive title and corner sponsorships. Full details, pricing, and what each tier includes are on our Sponsorship page. For a custom package or to discuss a specific opportunity, contact Jason Cox directly at (304) 834-8374.
How do I get my fighter on a Cox Fight Night card?
We are always looking at new talent from West Virginia, Ohio, Kentucky, and the surrounding region. Reach out through the contact form on this page with your record, weight class, and any relevant licensing information, and our matchmaker will follow up.
Where can I buy Cox Fight Promotions apparel?
