Fight Night 50
Fighter Spotlight
Get ready, Parkersburg. We're kicking off fighter introductions for "Thanksgiving Throwdown" — meet the hometown talent stepping into the ring November 28th at The Elite Sports Center.
Jon Merinar
First up is a hometown favorite who protects our community by day and clears out the division by night: Jon Merinar!
Jon is a deeply rooted, popular face around town. When he isn't in the ring, he is keeping Parkersburg looking sharp as the owner and operator of Broadway Barber Shop, or serving on the front lines as a full-time firefighter with the Parkersburg Fire Department.
His boxing journey started at a very young age, training under the expert guidance of Gary Wolfe at Wolfe Boxing and Fitness. All that dedication paid off big time — Jon turned professional in 2025 and currently boasts an explosive, undefeated 3-0 Pro record with a flawless 100% knockout ratio!
